Hoopla instantly delivers thousands of free movies, television shows, music, and audiobooks from major Hollywood studios, record companies, and publishers for streaming on your computer or for temporary download to smartphones, tablets, and Apple TV. All you need is your valid Ocean City library card. Get the iOS app or the Android app.

Infobase's eBook Collection features thousands of core reference works from acclaimed imprints such as Facts On File, Ferguson's, and Bloom's on a wide range of subject areas, from history to science, literature, and more.

Libby is an innovative in-browser and mobile app from OverDrive designed to make borrowing and enjoying e-books, magazines, and audiobooks from the library easier than ever. Libby is available on your browser and for Android and iOS devices.

The OCFPL is a member of local libraries that share a combined Libby website for eBooks and audiobooks. This site has a large selection of older eBooks and audiobooks and can be great if you're reading through a series. If you'd like to put in a request or are looking for new titles and bestsellers, please use the Libby -- Ocean City site (above). We specifically manage Libby -- Ocean City for our OCFPL patrons.

Through the Palace app, library users can access over 20,000 items curated by the Digital Public Library of America, opens a new window and the New Jersey State Library. Users can access the Palace app on their preferred mobile device or tablet via download from the Apple or Google Play stores.

The process for signing up is completely self-contained within the Palace app, and will require only an email address and authentication through geolocation (anywhere in NJ). We’ve outlined instructions below.

The Palace Project App – Getting Started
Step 1: Download the Palace App from the Apple Store, opens a new window or Google Play Store, opens a new window.

Step 2: Select the "New Jersey State Library" as your library

Step 3: Click on Settings, then Libraries

Step 4: Click on New Jersey State Library

Step 5: Click on "Create Card" and follow the instructions

Step 6: Open the verification email you receive and click the verification link. Your virtual library card number will be included in this email

Step 7: Log in to the app and find your first book!

TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book that you can read, or have read to you. TBL also includes Graphic Novels (A reader favorite!), Read-Along Chapter Books, Non-Fiction, Videos, and Games.
